Combining solar & energy efficiency for buildings
CMR Group and its subsidiary in Nigeria (GreenElec) have successfully engineered and built several C&I roof top solar PV plants.
For a typical industrial roof top, the installed solar power capacity can range from 200 kWp to 3MWp. Commercial building roofs – such as those of hospitals, universities, administration buildings, airport, banks or petrol stations – may require smaller systems due to the limited roof space available.
Solar electricity generated from a roof top can be used for one's own consumption, or it can be sold back to the grid. In all cases, it will result in major savings on the electricity bill.
Solar roof top installations on commercial & industrial buildings are complicated and require specific design adaptations so that solar plants can be built on top of them. At CMR Group and across all our subsidiaries, we support our clients from the system design phase based on consumption data and the roofs’ physical constraints up to the supply, installation and maintenance of equipment.
Our solution is vertically integrated with building energy efficiency management, optimising consumption of the cooling, air conditioning and lighting systems.
We also work in partnership with several investors able to provide financing solutions through electricity resale agreements.
