 CMR TUNISIA CHANGES

ZINEDDINE BENHADID HAS JOINED AS MANAGING DIRECTOR OF CMR TUNISIA IN A MOVE THAT REFLECTS CONTINUING SUCCESS AND GROWTH FOR THE COMPANY ACROSS IMPORTANT REGIONAL MARKETS.

With extensive manufacturing and management experience gained at several groups including Valeo, Asteelflash, Cofitel and Valeo Power Train Systems, Zineddine will report to Neil Wilkinson.  Zineddine’s main objectives and targests are to develop the plant in term of Leadership growth, best organization and visual management and lead the day-to-day operations and monitor Quality, delivery and productivity KPIs.

Zineddine takes over from Lassaad Ketata, who after eight years contribution to the development and transformation of CMR Tunisia, is promoted to a new role as Group manufacturing leader. In this capacity, he will report in to Neil with a key focus on managing manufacturing and overseeing the transference of manufacturing to Tunisia, India and China.

At end of February, 341 people are employed at CMR Tunisia (compared to 205 beginning of 2017).

CMR Tunisia was the first dedicated offshore manufacturing site within the CMR Group (in 2001). Following continued investment and growth, CMR Tunisia have become one of the most modern facilities of its type within the network of CMR operations.

A feature of the added value services available from CMR Tunisia for its customers is the use of prototyping skills and high engineering manufacturing background to deliver any type of wiring harness.

  Rigid wiring harnesses (conduit and pipe)
  Low cost harnesses (braiding and over moulding process)
