Asif Rashid has been appointed as the new managing director of CMR’s U.S. operations.

His appointment comes as the company moves to meet the increasing demand for more sophisticated instrumentation for natural gas applications and changes in diesel emission regulations. Investment is also being made in equipping the workforce with the skills required to meet the demands of emerging engine technologies and reciprocating machinery.

Asif, who was the managing director of CMR CPC in France prior to his new move, said:

“We are seeing an uptake from global OEMs and engine engineering specialists who want added value solutions from a single supplier, capable of delivering excellence while working at low volumes".

“All the global engine builders are looking to develop gas products, so we are well placed with the expertise and a highly trained workforce to meet the needs of existing and new customers.”
