CMR Tunisia is looking for an NPI Engineer.
The main mission will be to supervise and facilitate the development process of new products.
Responsibilities:
Bill of Materials Creation: Develop the bill of materials for new products in the ERP and ensure their regular updates.
CPN Code Management: Create and manage new CPN codes for components in the ERP.
Product Costing: Estimate the cost of new products, taking into account raw materials and labor.
Product Range Updates: Maintain and update the bill of materials and product manufacturing ranges in the ERP.
Project Management: Develop schedules for new projects and monitor progress to ensure prototypes are delivered on time, with zero defects.
Support and Training: Assist in the validation of first production runs, train operators on new products, and validate production times through time studies.
Technical Document Preparation: Prepare manufacturing documents for new products (cutting plans, twisting plans, tooling files, etc.).
Process Documentation: Write manufacturing process instructions for new products and ensure their compliance.
Schedule Management: Develop and follow the weekly schedule for new product deliveries.
Equipment Identification: Identify the manufacturing and testing equipment needed for new products (tools, means, interfaces, etc.).
Participation in Meetings: Contribute to analysis meetings to improve project quality.
Team Collaboration: Provide technical feedback to designers and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
Health and Safety: Apply health and safety policies in accordance with the company’s manual requirements.
Requirment:
Management of projects involving the introduction of new products into production.
Knowledge of industrialisation processes and process optimisation.
Proficiency in quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D.
Ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
Proficiency in Excel and project management tools.
Desired profile:
Education: Industrial Engineering (and/or Mechanical Engineering; Mechatronics, etc.)
Experience: 2 to 3 years, ideally in an industrial environment. (Automotive wiring a plus).
Attention to detail and ability to analyse data
