Power BI Developer

A great opportunity has arisen for a Power Bi Developer to join the UK business and wider CMR international IT team.
The successful candidate will be required to provide local support to users in the UK to support applications such as Power BI in addition to supporting wider UK and Group IT projects.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Understand the challenges of the organization’s IT systems and analyse/propose new software solutions to support improvement.
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for various business units and functions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders together requirements and translate these into effective data visualisations.
- Provide user training and support for Power BI and analytics tools.
- Work with project teams and BI Engineers to ensure data is captured within the system and accessible through the data warehouse to meet reporting requirements.
- Design, build and maintain the Company’s Share-point intranet.
- Support the on-going maintenance and improvement of Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Act as site IT representative within the wider Group IT organisation to support UK requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Group IT project tracking processes.
- Monitoring of computer systems.
- Training & coaching UK users on new and existing hardware and software systems.
- Meeting the demands of the group IT team, supporting projects as required

Essential experience and skills:

- Strong experience of Power BI development
- Strong data analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across a number of business disciplines.
- A willingness to undertake international business travel is also required
- Working knowledge of Advanced Excel, Power BI tools and ERP in enterprise (such as Dynamics AX).
